Visiting instructor Frol Boundin hosts this open studio and demonstration. Silkscreen Shop in a box: How to build your own exposure system and to set up a DIY silk screen studio.

This workshop will showcase a simple "do it yourself" strategy for setting up a basic silk screen operation in your home. The basics of silk screen process will be explored, from the set up of printing station, to building of an exposure system, to making of stencils by either hand or by using photo emulsion, to printing with water based inks on both paper and fabric.
